In September we launched the world’s first temporary UAV landing mat at DSEi in London.

We have just signed the first deal for the matting with the Australian armed forces for £800,000.

The agreement is the most recent development in a long-standing relationship with Australia who has used our aluminium portable roadways for many years.

The product was specifically designed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – or drones as they are otherwise known – and will help to protect aircraft from foreign object damage (FOD) among a host of other benefits.
