Our aluminium roadways are constantly being called-upon to rescue military vehicles in distress so when Supacat – the designer and manufacturer of high mobility and al-terrain vehicles – needed our help at the Defence Vehicle Dynamics (DVD) exhibition in Millbrook we were quick to step in.

To combat the unreliable British weather and to ensure their vehicles aren’t trapped in boggy terrain by the end of the exhibition we have lent Supacat our Heavy Ground Mobility System (HGMS) portable roadway to use as a vehicle parking area on their stand.

Our HGMS and Medium Ground Mobility System (MGMS) demo units were being displayed at the IVECO stand (OR 18-20) so it was easy to quickly send over the HGMS unit to Supacat’s aid. The Supacat Protected Vehicle 400 and High Mobility Transporter were just some of the vehicles using the roadway.

It’s great to see our military-grade aluminium helping out a fellow UK-engineering heavyweight.
